Adventures for the Cure: The Doc is a documentary following three cyclists on a 6,500-mile cross-country journey across America on fixed-gear bicycles. The trio rides to raise funds and awareness for diabetes while supporting disabled children in Kenya. Adam, a Type-1 diabetic himself, must manage his condition while pedaling up to 150 miles daily, testing both his body and resolve. Along the way, the group encounters two diabetic children whose stories profoundly shift their perspective on the mission. The film balances genuine emotional weight with humor—wild dog chases in Kentucky, impromptu tent abandonments in Kansas, competitive games with fellow bikers in Oregon, and an ambitious quest to sing karaoke in all 16 states they traverse.
