Axing the Coffin: Death is Eternal is a martial arts film set in ancient kingdoms where love and vengeance collide. When Duke Hsuan Ch'i orders ninjas to assassinate General Tieng and abduct his daughter Szu Chin, their friend Chang Chou intervenes and saves her—but the General dies in the struggle. Szu Chin and Chang Chou flee to a distant kingdom, seeking refuge from the Duke's reach. Years later, after Chang Chou's death, the obsessed Duke pursues Szu Chin across borders, determined to claim her regardless of the cost. His relentless quest becomes a descent into darkness, where passion transforms into a destructive force that threatens to consume them both.
