Mom's Friend 2(2016)

Mom's Friend 2 is a South Korean comedy-drama following Gwang-ho, an art student reeling from a humiliating breakup. His girlfriend leaves him, citing his emotional dependence and immaturity. Desperate for a fresh start, he transfers to a new academy where his mother introduces him to Soo-yeon, an elegant and intelligent family friend. Gwang-ho is immediately drawn to her. When his mother departs for Australia to care for his ailing father, Gwang-ho stays at Soo-yeon's house. As his attraction deepens, Soo-yeon's visiting niece Ha-kyeong becomes an unexpected catalyst, pushing him toward acting on his feelings. The film explores themes of coming-of-age, desire, and the messy complications that arise when fantasy collides with reality.
