The Quick and the Undead is a zombie western set 80 years into a plague that has ravaged America. The infection spreads by bite, transforming victims into the undead and leaving the western United States a patchwork of ghost towns crawling with zombies. The government has turned survival into commerce, offering bounties for severed zombie fingers—pinkies—as proof of kills. Bounty hunters roam the desolate landscape, hunting the infected for reward. The film blends post-apocalyptic horror with frontier justice, following those desperate or skilled enough to profit from the undead plague consuming the nation.
