Thirsty, Thirsty is a Korean comedy film about GU Chang-sik, an ambitious debt collector desperate to become the industry's top earner. After three months of failure, he encounters three struggling debtors who change everything: KWAK Seon-ju, a single mother barely getting by; CHO Eul-sang, a bankrupt businessman clinging to his house for his daughter's wedding; and SHIM Su-gyo, an unemployed graduate trapped in predatory lending. As Chang-sik pursues his commission, he discovers unexpected humanity in those he's meant to squeeze. The film balances sharp comedy with genuine pathos, exploring the gap between ambition and compassion in modern Korea's financial underworld.
