UFC Fight Night 16: Fight for the Troops was a mixed martial arts event held on December 10, 2008, at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The card raised $4 million during its three-hour broadcast to benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which supports severely wounded military personnel, veterans, and families of service members lost in action. Originally scheduled fighters Brian Stann and Frank Edgar withdrew due to injury, with Razak Al-Hassan and Jim Miller stepping in as replacements. Miller accepted his spot just three weeks before the event. The event featured referees Dan Miragliotta, Donnie Jessup, Al Coley, and Mario Yamasaki officiating the bouts.
