White Feast(1996)

White Feast is a film about an elderly man confronting mortality and memory. Valentin Grack, knowing his time is running short, hires private detective Stanislav to document his final day—a cold journey through encounters that blur past and present. Along the way, he meets a younger woman who recognizes him as a professor, a prostitute revealed to be his estranged daughter, and his worried wife, who has been searching for him for eight days. Between these meetings, Grack drifts through surreal moments and vivid flashbacks to his youth, each encounter peeling back layers of a life lived. The film weaves together fragmented memories and chance meetings into a meditation on time, identity, and the people we leave behind.
