Lacrima Christi(1980)

Lacrima Christi is an experimental film by Mexican filmmaker Teo Hernández, a Paris-based artist known for his prolific output of over 150 works. The longest of his films, it forms the third part of a tetralogy exploring Christ's Passion. Hernández constructs a meditation on desire and myth through a collection of objects discovered at the Belleville flea market, tracing how sacred and profane meanings transfer between material things and spiritual concepts. The film's contemplative approach reflects Hernández's distinctive style, blending found materials with philosophical inquiry into religious imagery and human longing.
