Like a Bat Outta Hell is an Australian horror film following four documentary filmmakers who arrive in the remote outback town of Nowhere Else, home to just two residents. The lone inhabitant rents them trailers and issues a stark warning: stay indoors after dark. When the crew discovers a cryptozoology book belonging to their host, they realize something dangerous lurks in the surrounding wilderness. Torn between heeding the warning and capturing footage of something extraordinary, the filmmakers must decide whether the potential discovery is worth the risk.
