Japan Japan is an Israeli film following Imri, a 19-year-old living in Tel Aviv who dreams of moving to Japan. Through his relationships and encounters across the city, the film explores what it means to be young and caught between two worlds. Director Yuval Kantro weaves together improvised and scripted scenes to capture Imri's life as he navigates Tel Aviv's vibrant streets while fantasizing about an idealized Japan he's never seen.
