Ride By Night(2017)

Ride By Night is a historical drama following Joan, an isolated pioneer woman grieving her abolitionist husband's death. When Martha, a former slave fleeing for her life, arrives at her door, Joan faces an impossible choice: help her travel the Underground Railroad or turn her away. Forced into action, the two women journey North together, their path marked by violence and moral reckoning. The film explores the collision between Joan's sheltered existence and the brutal realities of slavery, as their bond deepens amid danger and bloodshed.
