Şara(1999)

Şara is a Turkish drama following a law student who returns to her rural hometown after learning her estranged father is gravely ill. Raised in Istanbul and educated in the city, Şara initially faces rejection from her tribal family and step-siblings, but gradually earns their respect through intelligence and compassion. When her father dies, tribal custom dictates that women cannot inherit, and her uncles demand she surrender her claim.
