Colossal Youth follows a hopeless romantic teenager who pursues his dream girl when she returns to school, convinced she's his perfect match. As he chases this fantasy, his life spirals downward, leading him to a breaking point. Only then does he recognize that genuine love has been waiting for him all along—in someone he'd overlooked the entire time. The film explores themes of adolescent longing, self-deception, and the gap between romantic idealization and real connection. It's a coming-of-age story about learning to see what's truly in front of you, rather than chasing illusions of what you think you want.
