You Are What You Eat

Parasitic is a sci-fi horror film that begins when a meteor crashes into Tampa Bay, contaminating a fish that becomes the meal of Val, a nightclub bartender. Within moments, the parasite inside her awakens—a grotesque creature that bursts from her throat and takes control of her body, turning her into its puppet. Trapped inside the locked bar as the infected Val hunts them, the club-goers must band together to survive and kill the creature before it escapes into the wider world. The film combines body horror with claustrophobic tension as ordinary people face an extraordinary threat with no way out and no one to call for help.
