The Boogeys(2017)

The Boogeys is a sci-fi thriller set in a dystopian near future where an alien species has reduced Earth to a planetary ghetto. Jack Dawkins, a former cop now working as a pickpocket, becomes entangled in a desperate race to find a missing child before the child is sold to an alien overlord. What begins as a rescue mission becomes a reckoning with Dawkins' own past failures and a chance at redemption. The film explores themes of survival and moral choice in a world where humanity has lost control, following one man's attempt to save an innocent life while confronting the consequences of his own fall from grace.
