Gold(2005)

Gold is a drama about an aging artist whose failing eyesight forces him into an unlikely partnership with a street hustler. As the artist's vision deteriorates, he hires the younger man to paint on his behalf, hoping to preserve his legacy and livelihood. Both men are trapped by desperation—one clinging to his artistic identity, the other seeking escape from the streets. Their arrangement grows increasingly fraught as ambition, ego, and survival instincts collide. The film explores how far two people will compromise their principles when their backs are against the wall, examining themes of authenticity, mentorship, and the cost of desperation.
