Canary(2018)

Canary is a coming-of-age musical drama set during South African apartheid. A young conscript drafted into the military finds refuge in the army's traveling choir, where he forms a deep bond with a fellow soldier. As romance blooms amid the brutality of war, he confronts his long-suppressed sexuality and discovers his true self through music, camaraderie, and the courage to be honest.
