Black Room is a Japanese psychological thriller about obsession and captivity. Mario, a media company employee, harbors a secret attraction to Seira, his coworker Shindo's fiancée. When voyeurism fails to satisfy his escalating desires, Mario takes a dangerous step—he kidnaps Seira and imprisons her in a locked room beneath his house. What begins as fixation spirals into a dark exploration of control, confinement, and the psychological breakdown that follows. The film examines how unchecked obsession transforms into criminal violence, trapping both captor and captive in a nightmare neither can escape.
