Bootleg Dad(2019)

Bootleg Dad is a comedy about unexpected family ties and second chances. When Ian learns that André, a washed-up soap opera actor struggling with alcoholism, is his biological father, he takes an unlikely job at André's failing mascot costume business. There he encounters a colorful cast of misfits and slowly discovers what it truly means to be a son and a father. The film explores themes of redemption and belonging through humor and heart, following Ian's journey as he navigates his newfound relationship with the man he never knew and finds an unconventional family in the process.
