Blackwood is a psychological horror film following Nikki, a sound recordist who captures something unsettling while filming in a remote forest. After a disturbing encounter, she awakens alone and disoriented in her home with no memory of how she got there. Her only hope of uncovering what happened lies in reviewing the audio recordings from her equipment. As Nikki pieces together the mysterious sounds and fragmented evidence, she's forced to confront a terrifying truth about her night in the woods. The film builds tension through found-footage elements and sensory horror, relying on what's heard rather than seen to create mounting dread.
