Blanche(2002)

Blanche is a 17th-century French adventure film following a young woman whose parents are murdered by Cardinal Mazarin's assassins. Orphaned and hardened by loss, Blanche becomes a skilled thief. She steals two dangerous items meant for the cardinal: a mysterious substance known as Powder of the Devil and an encrypted letter. Her theft ignites Mazarin's wrath, setting her on a collision course with one of France's most powerful men. Caught between survival and vengeance, Blanche must use her cunning and nerve to stay ahead of the cardinal's relentless pursuit.
