Lady Ninja Kasumi 5: Counter Attack is a ninja action film set during the escalating conflict between the Iga and Sanada clans. A skilled gunsmith named Shinsuke Kakei becomes the target of both factions, each desperate to control his weapons and secure an advantage in their war. Though Kakei is a pacifist, he believes his creations could bring lasting peace if wielded by the right hands. Kasumi is tasked with recruiting him for the Sanada side and preventing his guns from falling to the Iga. But Hattori and his sister Sayuri have their own ruthless agenda for Kakei and his wife, forcing Kasumi into a dangerous confrontation where loyalty and survival hang in the balance.
