For the Love is a documentary following brothers Brendan and Todd Wells as they kayak uncharted rivers across the globe. These expedition paddlers and their crew seek out whitewater and waterfalls in some of Earth's most remote corners—places few humans have ever reached. The film captures their attempts to descend pristine rivers in Ecuador's dense jungles and Alaska's backcountry, documenting both the grueling preparation and the exhilaration of discovery. Elite kayakers push their skills and bodies to the limit on treacherous rapids, hacking through jungle terrain and flying kayaks into isolated locations by bush plane. For the Love balances the raw struggle of extreme exploration with the rewards of finding untouched waterways and testing the boundaries of what's possible in whitewater sports.
