Septième ciel(1987)

Septième ciel is a French drama following Vicky, an aspiring actress who arrives in Paris with big dreams but finds herself working as a hostess at a phone sex company instead. When her childhood friend Jimmy, living in the Camargue marshlands, spots her on a magazine cover, he travels to Paris determined to reconnect with her. There he meets Zoé, a precocious eight-year-old girl who becomes an unlikely ally in his search. The film explores themes of ambition, friendship, and redemption as these three characters' lives intersect in unexpected ways, revealing the gap between youthful hopes and harsh reality.
