Extreme Lesson is a South Korean drama following Yeong-soo, a man who has spent a decade saving to finally pursue higher education. As he prepares for college entrance exams, his long-term relationship with Ji-eun grows stale—their intimacy has become routine and joyless. Caught between loyalty to their five-year bond and his own dissatisfaction, Yeong-soo finds himself losing motivation on multiple fronts: his studies falter, his desire wanes, and he's trapped between commitment and the pull of something more. When the first mock test arrives, he faces a reckoning with both his academic ambitions and personal fulfillment.
