Souvenir is a short film series exploring what it means to hold onto memories in an age of digital excess. Rather than treating souvenirs as mere objects, the work celebrates meaningful moments and the tactile, intimate experience of receiving something by hand—a deliberate counterpoint to our screen-saturated lives. The films examine how analog gestures and personal exchanges create lasting impressions in ways that technology often fails to capture. By focusing on the emotional weight of direct human connection, Souvenir rescues a nearly forgotten ritual: the simple act of giving and receiving something tangible from another person. The series invites viewers to reconsider what truly matters when we try to preserve our most precious experiences.
