Journey - The Escape Tour(2005)
Journey – The Escape Tour is a concert documentary capturing one of rock's biggest touring phenomena. Supporting the band's breakthrough number-one album Escape, the eight-and-a-half-month trek spanned Japan and North America with unprecedented commercial success. Journey played six consecutive sold-out nights at Detroit's Pine Knob Theatre and four straight shows at the Los Angeles Forum, cementing their arena-rock dominance. The tour peaked with a massive July 1982 Rose Bowl appearance alongside Blue Öyster Cult, Triumph, and Aldo Nova. Opening acts Point Blank, Billy Squier, the Greg Kihn Band, and Loverboy supported the band throughout. This tour marked a pivotal moment in Journey's ascent to superstardom during the early 1980s rock era.
