The White Room

The White Room is a psychological thriller following Alberto, a Colombian massage therapist working in London to fund his mother's surgery back home. Trapped in a cycle of poverty and isolation, the deeply religious man becomes increasingly convinced that God has marked out a specific destiny for him. He begins interpreting everyday occurrences—street signs, bar encounters, and his clients' hands—as divine messages. When a controversial politician visits his spa, Alberto believes he has found the key to his fate. Blending biblical prophecy, Nostradamus, palmistry, and Islamic mysticism, the film spirals into a taut, unsettling exploration of faith, obsession, and the supernatural. Set against East London's gritty streets, it examines how desperation and spiritual fervor can blur the line between revelation and delusion.
