The Salamander(2021)

The Salamander is a French drama following a middle-aged bureaucrat who flees to Brazil to escape her anxieties about the future. Paralyzed by fear and routine, she arrives in Rio seeking refuge from her stalled life back home. There she becomes entangled in a destructive affair with a young man that upends her carefully controlled existence.
