Golpe de suerte(1992)

Golpe de suerte is a Mexican drama about a bureaucrat whose fortunes shift dramatically when a well-connected union leader friend helps him secure credit for a house and car. The arrangement seems like a stroke of luck until the bureaucrat loses his job in a sudden workforce reduction, despite decades of loyal service. Now saddled with debt he cannot pay, he faces mounting pressure from creditors and the threat of losing everything he's gained. The film explores themes of economic vulnerability, the fragility of working-class stability, and the complex obligations that come with favors from those in power. As circumstances spiral beyond his control, the protagonist must navigate a system that offers little mercy to those who fall behind.
