Universal Squadrons is a drama following Captain Lance Deakin, a Texan ranch handler struggling to readjust to civilian life after serving in Iraq. Living with his partner Becca, Deakin attempts to return to his quiet existence, but haunting war memories and intrusive flashbacks continually disrupt his peace. The film explores the psychological toll of combat and the difficulty of leaving trauma behind, even in the safety of home. As Deakin grapples with his past, he must find a way to reconcile his soldier's experience with the simple life he once knew.
