Sleepless Town(1998)

Sleepless Town is a crime thriller set in Tokyo's notorious Kabukicho district. Kenichi, a half-Japanese, half-Chinese underworld operator, maintains his own moral code—he'll deal in almost anything except children's organs. When his former partner Fu-Chun resurfaces after years in hiding, old debts come due. Fu-Chun once killed the second-in-command of gangland boss Yuan, and Yuan sees an opportunity for revenge. He manipulates Kenichi into a dangerous game where loyalty, survival, and redemption collide amid the turf wars between rival Shanghai gangs fighting for control of the district. As tensions escalate, Kenichi must navigate between his past and present while the city's underworld closes in.
