The Malevolent is a psychological drama following Keith, a man confined to a wheelchair in his fourth-floor apartment after a car accident kills his wife. Grieving and isolated, Keith battles severe PTSD while struggling to distinguish reality from delusion and dream. His priest counselor Father Salvo, home health care supervisor Julia, and best friend Carlos visit him, but their presence offers little comfort as Keith's mental state deteriorates. Haunted by trauma and questioning his faith, he descends into a murky psychological landscape where the line between the living and the dead blurs. The film explores grief, isolation, and the fragile nature of perception through Keith's increasingly fractured perspective.
