Battleground is a horror-thriller set in the forests of North Michigan as the Vietnam War winds down. A disturbed veteran, haunted by combat and driven by a singular obsession to kill, stalks the remote wilderness. When six ruthless bank robbers fleeing with three million dollars stumble into his domain, they find themselves trapped between the law closing in behind them and a relentless killer ahead. Survival becomes the only currency that matters as the criminals realize their greatest threat isn't the authorities—it's the predator hunting them through the dark woods. The film explores whether these hardened criminals can escape the veteran's murderous rampage, or if the forest will claim them all.
