Black Snow(2020)

Black Snow is a Russian drama following Gosha, a trucker who hauls goods across the frozen expanses of Yakutia. He profits by trading cheap vodka to remote villages for meat, exploiting the isolated communities he serves. Driven by greed, Gosha attempts to return to the city alone—but his vehicle breaks down in the vast wilderness, leaving him stranded hundreds of kilometers from civilization. Surrounded by nothing but snow and silence, he faces the unforgiving landscape and the consequences of his own moral compromises. The film explores themes of isolation, survival, and redemption against the harsh backdrop of Russia's remote north.
