YouTupolis is a sci-fi short set in a dystopian future where an entire city is owned and operated by YouTube. Residents earn their living by creating and uploading videos, never venturing beyond their homes. The film itself was made by YouTube vloggers who collaborated remotely, never meeting in person or leaving their houses during production. It's a meta commentary on digital life and creator culture, where the boundary between platform and place dissolves entirely. YouTupolis explores what happens when a video-sharing empire becomes the infrastructure of human existence.
