Four Suns(2012)

Four Suns is a Czech drama about a man caught between arrested adolescence and adult responsibility. Fogi, perpetually immature, struggles to balance his role as father to teenage Véna from a previous marriage while living with Jana, a postal worker, and their young daughter Anicka in a cramped flat. When Fogi loses his job, tensions mount. Worse, he begins recognizing his own youthful mistakes mirrored in Véna's behavior, triggering conflict and mutual resentment. Jana's patience erodes as Fogi's moodiness and irresponsibility intensify. The film traces how one man's refusal to grow up fractures his family, as his son repeats the same destructive patterns. A portrait of generational cycles and the cost of emotional immaturity on those who depend on him.
