The Sanctity of Space is a documentary following climbers Renan Ozturk, Freddie Wilkinson, and Zack Smith as they attempt an unprecedented traverse across Alaska's Moose's Tooth massif. Inspired by legendary aerial photographer Brad Washburn's decades-old images of Denali, the three friends pursue a radical vision: to cross the range's most treacherous peaks rather than summit them. As they battle rockfall, failing equipment, and brutal weather, their ambition hardens into obsession. When Renan sustains a severe brain injury, the expedition becomes a test of something deeper than mountaineering skill. The film captures how extreme ambition can fracture bonds forged in shared danger, and what three friends must sacrifice when chasing a dream that could cost everything.
