Folk Song(2021)

Folk Song is a Chinese drama following the final push to eliminate poverty in rural China. Zhao Lin, deputy secretary of the township party committee, recruits Ying as the first secretary of a village, while Ji Hebin arrives to lead another settlement. Initially at odds, the two officials discover common ground as they navigate the challenges of poverty eradication. Their rivalry transforms into genuine partnership as both villages race to meet the government's deadline.
