Marc Bolan & T. Rex: Born to Boogie is a concert film capturing the glam-rock legends at their commercial peak in 1972. Directed by Ringo Starr, it documents two sold-out performances at London's Wembley Empire Pool during the height of "T-Rexstacy," when the band was scoring consecutive Top 10 hits. The film weaves together the dual live sets—featuring guest appearances by Ringo and Elton John—with an intimate acoustic performance filmed at John Lennon's mansion. Interspersed throughout are playful backstage moments with Bolan and surreal visual interludes of nuns and dwarves. It remains the only complete recording of a full T. Rex concert, capturing the band's raw energy and the theatrical excess that defined the glam-rock era.
