Katmandú(2021)

Katmandú is an Italian drama following Simone, a 27-year-old trapped in a grey, suffocating existence of routine and urban decay. When she encounters Kiki, a mysterious stranger, her world fractures. He pulls her into a shadowy, dangerous realm that promises escape—but more importantly, forces her to confront who she really is. As Simone ventures deeper into this forbidden world, the line between liberation and self-destruction blurs. The film explores how sometimes we need to lose ourselves to find ourselves, set against the gritty backdrop of a city shrouded in fog and indifference.
