Cap'n O.G. Readmore's Jack and the Beanstalk(1985)

Cap'n O.G. Readmore's Jack and the Beanstalk is an animated adventure that follows a ragtag book club—Cap'n O.G. Readmore, Kitty Literature, Ol' Tome Cat, Wordsy, Lickety Page, and Dog-Eared—meeting for their Friday night gathering in an alley beside the public library. When the group begins mocking characters from classic fairy tales, the bookshelves suddenly part and Cap'n O.G. is pulled into the very stories they've been ridiculing. Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk confronts Cap'n O.G. and demands he take his place in the tale. The captain must navigate the perils of the beanstalk and outwit the giant to survive the adventure and return home.
