Ahetuk(2015)

Ahetuk is an Assamese-language romantic thriller directed by Bani Das, whose previous films like Maharathi and Mon earned strong local followings. The film stars Gunjan Bhardwaj and Amrita Gogoi in lead roles, with Tapan Das in a supporting part. Ahetuk explores the hollow pursuit of life's desires, following characters who chase meaning only to confront emptiness. Das brings his signature blend of romance, action and visual drama to examine what we truly value and what proves meaningless.
