Chef(2017)

Chef follows Roshan Kalra, a celebrated three-Michelin-star chef whose career implodes when he punches a customer at New York's Gulli restaurant and gets fired. Desperate for a reset, he returns to Kochi to reconnect with his estranged wife Radha and their son Armaan. The trip becomes unexpectedly healing—Roshan repairs his fractured family bonds and rediscovers what matters beyond the kitchen's pressure and ego. Inspired by Radha's encouragement, he decides to start fresh with a food truck, trading haute cuisine for a simpler, more authentic way of cooking. The film traces his journey from burnout to redemption, exploring how loss and humility can lead to genuine transformation.
