Churam(1997)

Churam is a Malayalam film about Balagopalan, a coffee shop owner in a remote village who takes in an orphan girl named Maya. As she proves herself invaluable in the shop with her intelligence and diligence, a quiet bond forms between them. Kunjunni, Balagopalan's assistant who lives deep in the forest, supplies vegetables and raw materials while nurturing a profound love for the woodland and its creatures.
