Contribution(2016)

Contribution is a historical thriller set in Perm, Siberia during the Russian Civil War. In 1918, White Guard General Anatoliy Pepelyaev's exhausted army occupies the city and desperately needs supplies. The general demands local merchants raise funds for the troops' survival. Wealthy widow Madame Chagina donates a massive diamond—only for it to vanish overnight. A Red Army investigator named Andrei Murzin, sentenced to death, is offered a chance at redemption: find the missing diamond or face execution. As Murzin pursues the jewel through the chaos of civil war, he uncovers a web of betrayal, greed, and shifting loyalties among the city's elite. The investigation becomes a race against time, where recovering the diamond means survival, and failure means death.
