Cord(2015)

Cord is a dystopian film set in a frozen, post-apocalyptic world where survivors live underground in squalid conditions. Sexual contact has become too dangerous due to poor sanitation, forcing the isolated community to rely on crude mechanical devices for sexual gratification. When Czuperski, a dealer of such contraptions, strikes a bargain with Tania, a sex addict willing to test his latest inventions in exchange for pleasure, their arrangement quickly spirals into something neither anticipated. As their relationship intensifies and boundaries blur, Cord explores themes of isolation, desire, and human connection in humanity's darkest hour.
