Der Blinde(1996)

Der Blinde is a crime thriller that begins when Susan Howard's encounter with a blind man takes a sinister turn—he stuns and kidnaps her. The Home Secretary assigns the case to Sir John, head of Scotland Yard, who delegates the investigation to Chief Inspector Higgins and Superintendent Lane. As the two officers dig deeper, they uncover a dangerous web of murder, human trafficking, and blackmail. Their pursuit of the kidnapper leads them through London's criminal underworld, where nothing is quite as it seems and the stakes grow deadlier with each discovery.
