Liebesschuld(2001)

Liebesschuld is a German drama about second chances and the weight of past decisions. A decade after giving up her baby for adoption, Anke returns to her Hamburg hometown to reconcile with her dying mother. There she discovers her daughter Christina has been raised by Alex, Anke's former lover and the girl's biological father. The reunion stirs up old wounds and long-buried emotions—love and resentment alike. Torn between her fiancé and her past, Anke must confront the choices that shaped her life.
