Lost Face(2016)

Lost Face is a silent film that traps a fur thief named Subienkow in a desperate fight for survival. When enslaved tribespeople attack the remote snow fort he built with his partner Big Ivan, Subienkow watches Ivan face brutal torture. Forced to think fast, Subienkow approaches the tribal chief Makamuk and attempts to negotiate his way out of a gruesome death. The film builds tension through a high-stakes bargain between captor and captive, exploring themes of greed, power, and the violent consequences of exploitation in the frozen wilderness.
